Is your office suffering from the Ostrich Syndrome?

Just like an ostrich, everyone loses when we stick our heads in the sand. Long gone are the days of cookie cutter care and often the dental hygienist feels stuck in the middle. Today’s patients expect quality care. They want their needs met and expect their benefits to be maximized. There are lots of moving parts in the business of dentistry and it can be really perplexing to everyone from the clinical providers to the business team.

It is daunting to keep up with the unending advances in products and procedures. The inevitable yearly changes in CDT procedure coding, along with accurate billing, is confusing. The ICD-10 diagnostic codes, required to support the medical necessity of a dental procedure, are fast becoming the norm.

This case-based course sheds light on the steps the entire team needs to take from diagnosis through billing to maximize patient care and support the business of dentistry. Becoming acquainted with new techniques can put the fun back into clinical care, stamp out boredom, and generate legitimate revenue.

Attendees will go away feeling more confident about treatment planning. This course is the perfect antidote for getting past the ostrich syndrome. Course bonus: fun facts about ostriches and their peculiar behaviors.
