IDHA Sends Letter to Governor Pritzker and IDPH Requesting Expanded Functions to Administer Vaccinations

During this crucial time when the COVID-19 vaccination is expected to roll out in mass quantities, the need for additional healthcare personnel to administer the vaccine will increase significantly. This is why adding dental hygienists to the healthcare personnel allowed to administer the COVID-19 vaccination is of high importance. See the following letter that IDHA sent to Governor Pritzker and IDPH Director Dr. Ezike to request that expanded functions ability to join alongside our fellow healthcare professionals with getting the vaccination to the public.
