    Full-time Dental Hygienist needed. Come join a vibrant dental team!

    We are looking for a Registered Dental Hygienist to join our growing General Dentistry Practice. (Travel between 3 offices)

    Interested Candidates must have the following requirements:

    Responsibilities:

    Perform dental hygiene services and procedures, including dental prophylaxis, scaling, fluoride and sealants, and root planning

    Complete a thorough assessment of the patient's teeth, bone, and periodontal tissues, and document any abnormalities or suspected conditions

    Customize care to meet patient's oral health

    Educate patients on good oral hygiene techniques

    Aid the dentist with procedures and emergencies as needed

    Maintain patient confidentiality

    Provide all care in conjunction with accepted professional dental practices and standards

    Qualifications:

    Graduate of an accredited school of dental hygiene

    Registered Dental Hygienist license in state of IL

    Current CPR certification At least 1-2 years of experience working in a dental practice Excellent interpersonal skills

    Proven dedication to provide high quality, comprehensive dental care

    Ability to comply with safety procedures, rules, and regulations in order to maintain a clean and safe working environment

    Strong working knowledge of dental terminology, equipment, and practices Laser certification is a plus

    Our St. Charles office is looking for a pro who wants to be part of a patient-centered hygiene department. Our passion is to help people get healthy, and help them stay that way. We provide hygiene/perio care only in the highest fashion that it can be learned and offered. We subscribe to evidence-based practices as prescribed by some of the best such as Sam Low and John Kois.     With the recent introduction of HB 1935 and SB 5833*, ADHA has been working closely with the Washington Dental Hygienists' Association to ensure the voices of our Washington dental hygienists are heard loud and clear. Our goal is to preserve the integrity of the dental hygiene profession and maintain the high standard of care patients deserve. A “one-time training” is not comparable to the years of intense schooling and the licensure exams dental hygienists must complete in order to practice in their state.

    We are happy to see our members from many different states standing by their Washington colleagues in opposition to these bills.
